Group Visits
Groups are welcome to visit the Moose Jaw Early Years Family Resource Centre on designated days and times (subject to change). Groups may include Pre-Kindergarten family days, daycares, day homes, and other community organizations. The space is designed to play, learn, explore and connect together.
The Moose Jaw Early Years Family Resource Centre is able to book space to a group in the community and surrounding area, providing that the program meets the following guiding principles of the Centre:
Welcoming, no cost service, group - based opportunities for families with children prenatal to 5 years of age
Early Learning - enhance child development with positive experiences and play
Parenting Education - provide responsive and nurturing environments and build parenting skills
Family Wellness - work with parents to provide services to support health and wellness of families
Information and Referrals - link families to supports to help them raise healthy children
Family Resource Guidelines for group visits:
Users are responsible to supervise and engage with their participants at all times. In this space all caregivers interact and have fun with their children while they learn and explore together
The space is intended to be used for 0-5 years of age, please be mindful of the small and loose parts
Complete the online booking form
Check in when you arrive with numbers of adults and children
Please ensure the rooms are left how you found it, placing any mouthed, sneezed or coughed on toys in the basket, place all other items back where they belong
FRC staff will be responsible to sanitize/disinfect the toys/space between each visit
The FRC has the right to ask you to leave if guidelines are not being followed and respected
Additional Requirement of User:
Any organization using the FRC space is responsible for providing a copy of their insurance policy listing the Moose Jaw Early Years Family Resource Centre and the Moose Jaw Chamber of Commerce as additional insurers prior to use of the space. The Moose Jaw Chamber of Commerce is the Accountable staffing partner of the FRC and the Centre is covered under their insurance policy. For this reason both parties need to be listed.
